We have thoroughly researched our routes, and have prepared accurate maps and cue sheets for each. We will offer three different routes each day (short, medium, and long), and an occasional longer route. The actual routes will be announced the night before each ride is to be ridden. This adds to the spontaneity of the event, and also allows the Directors to match routes to wind and weather conditions. Routes that we have on file include the following:

Most riders find that a 39 X 23 low gear is sufficient in most cases, but a 39 X 25 or 39 X 27 will be greatly appreciated on some of the climbs. We have documented some short hills with gradients of 20-21%, so come prepared!

Be sure to bring good, stout wheels, because there are numerous cattle guards that we will be crossing. Road conditions are generally good.
