Hell Week Brevets 2008
March, May, June & September
We have a short series of 200K and 300K brevets for 2008. These brevets are sanctioned by RUSA, and can be ridden to help qualify for 1200K randonee events. These challenging rides will test your mettle against the elements and yourself. Two of our brevets will be held during Texas Hell Week (TXHW and the brevets have separate entries), while the remainder will be in the Texas Panhandle.
In the spirit of randonneuring, we offer minimal support on these rides. Some of our brevets have more support than others, but the emphasis is on doing this yourself. Our goal is to prepare riders for self-sufficiency on the bike, especially as it pertains to events like PBP.

Monday 17 March 200K--in Fredericksburg 0800 start
Monday 17 March 300K--in Fredericksburg 0600 start
Friday 21 March 200K--in Fredericksburg 0800 start
Friday 21 March 300K--in Fredericksburg 0600 start
Saturday 31 May 200K--in Canyon TX 0700 start
Sunday 01 June 200K--in Lubbock TX 0700 start
Saturday 06 September 200K--in Canyon TX 0700 start
Sunday 07 September 200K--in Tucumcari NM 0700 start

Our 2009 preliminary schedule of brevets is as follows:

Monday 16 March 200K--in Fredericksburg 0800 start
Monday 16 March 300K--in Fredericksburg 0600 start
Friday 20 March 200K--in Fredericksburg 0800 start
Friday 20 March 300K--in Fredericksburg 0600 start

Brevets held in conjunction with Texas Hell Week in March are $8 each. The two weekend brevets are $109 for double occupancy, and $139 for single occupancy. Two breakfasts, two lunches, motel room, baggage shuttle, post-ride picnic, equipment trailer, and limited neutral support are provided.
