  Four Corners Hell Week
(4CHW is on hiatus in 2008, but is normally held in mid-May)

The Indians knew a great place when they saw it. The Navajo and Hopi Indians lived throughout the southwest, and the Four Corners tour will let you see the land much like they saw it hundreds of years ago.

Start/finish for the tour is Albuquerque, which is easily accessed by air or highway. That's the only big city we'll see on the entire trip, as we immediately head west toward Grants and then Gallup.

You'll get four states to ride in (in case you're collecting them), and see more red rock than you ever bargained for. You're likely to see horses strolling the streets of Chinle AZ, and you'll be utterly amazed at the nearby cliff dwellings of the Anasazi.

Monument Valley is next on our list as you get to see where all those pickup truck commercials are filmed. Make sure you have fresh batteries and plenty of room on your memory card, because each one of the "monuments" begs to be photographed from several angles.

After a brief jaunt into Colorado, we'll step onto the fabled "spot" where four states join one another. We'll let you decide which one you like best, and then we'll ide close by the monolithic Shiprock monument near Farmington. No wonder early explorers and travelers called it a ship out on the desert, for it looks like one that has lost its way. ,p> The remainder of the trip take us back to Grants, and then back into Albuquerque via back roads. Expect comfortable riding conditions for May, with chilly mornings possible followed by warm afternoons.

What's the Cost?
The fee is $1375 for single occupancy, and less for double occupancy (see the Register page for complete details). If you pay after 25th April, there is a $100 additional fee. All fees are due not later than 1st May. We strongly recommend you secure your spot by making a $500 refundable deposit (refundable through 15 April).

What Do I Get For the Money?
You will get 9 nights lodging, breakfast, lunch, road snacks, sag support, commemorative Four Corners Hell Week wearables, and a great time touring central the southwest!

The complete itinerary with motel info and phone numbers will be sent in late April to all registered riders.
